Lost In The World Response
What is the general premise of the video? This video is about how the world is so obsessed with their phones. Nobody was actually paying attention to what was going on and they only were there to capture it and post it everywhere. Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message? I think the video is very effective in conveying it's intended message. They used the topic of suicide which is something that is very serious and caught my attention especially. I think by having that one character be so innocent and wishing for a change really helped get their message across. Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why? I feel like this is more of an examination of our current social situation rather than a warning. I feel like since so many of these things presented in the video are already happening in our society that this video isn't really warning us of a future reality becaus...
letter to the past
Dear Devan, In order to be successful in creative photography, you have to put into more effort than you would have thought. When given a project you have to research ideas and then build off of them. At times when it may feel easier to go with a basic concept, you have to think outside of the box and approach the assignments differently. Making use of your time is very important especially with Photoshop heavy projects. I took a selfie and imported it into Photoshop and played around with different overlays until I found something that I lik...
1. I believe that the photo is conveying the fear of making decisions.
ReplyDelete2. Although the emotion is conveyed in the fear of making decisions through the black and white coloring, the photo itself doesn't represent an example of multiple decisions as the road is going only one direction.
3. I really like the angle of the photo showing the horizon and long stretch of road.
4. One thing I would've done differently is taken a photo at a crossroads to make it more clear that a decisions has to be made. Even showing a person at the end of the crossroads looking for where to cross would be interesting.
1. I think the picture is conveying the fear of making decisions.
ReplyDelete2. I think the photo is successful at conveying the fear because it shows an empty road that could represent the future of making decisions ahead.
3. The picture is beautiful and the black/ white editing is very visually pleasing.
4. I would consider moving the word "decidophobia" to the top of the photo because it blends in to the road.
